What Your Registration Fee Includes:
Unless stated otherwise, your Content World 2011 Registration Fee includes the following:
- Enterprise Expo Reception – November 13
- Enterprise World 2012 Kickoff Evening Event – November 13
- Breakfast – November 14 and 15
- Lunch - November 14 and 15
- Keynote and General Session – November 14
- All Breakout Sessions – November 14 and 15
- Enterprise Expo – November 13, 14 and 15
- Innovation Lab – November 14 and 15 (onsite sign-up required)
- Offsite Evening Event and Dinner – November 15
- Conference Proceedings – supplied online in OpenText Online Communities
Note:
- The registration fee must be paid before entrance to the conference will be permitted.
- Training workshops and courses are extra – see the Training Fee Schedule.

How to Register
To begin, enter your first name, last name, email address, choose your Registration Type from the drop-down menu, complete your personal registration information, and proceed to select your Admission Items:
- Select Conference/Training Registration
- If you want to register for the conference and training at this time.
- If you want to register for the conference only at this time. You can return to the Web site and register for training later.
- Select Training Only – You may attend the training workshops and courses separately from the conference. If you register for training only at this time, you can return to the Web site and register for the conference later.
- Select Wednesday or Thursday One-Day Registration – If you only want to attend one day of the conference. You can return to the Web site and register for training later. Note that there is no training on the Wednesday or Thursday.
Your Confirmation Number
You will need your confirmation number to:
- edit your profile information
- sign up for training if you originally registered for the conference only
- sign up for the conference if you originally registered for training only
- add more training workshops/courses, or modify your training selections, breakout session choices, etc.
- add a guest and pay for guest passes to one or more evening event
- cancel your registration (cancellation policies apply)
Please follow the link that is provided with your confirmation number in your confirmation email, and click on the “My Registration” tab in the main navigation bar to make any of the above modifications to your registration.
Please bring your confirmation email and/or confirmation number with you to the conference.
Payment Methods and Currency
Currency
For all purchases, your fees are calculated and billed in US Dollars.
Payment Online
We accept the following credit cards:

- Master Card
- American Express
Your credit card payment will be processed immediately. Your fee will be calculated and billed in US Dollars.
Other Forms of Payment
If you are unable to pay by credit card and need to pay by Company Check/Purchase Order, please contact the Content World team to make arrangements.
If you are a member of the OpenText GlobalStar Program and wish to apply your points towards your conference or training registration, please refer to the GlobalStar Perks page of the Content World 2011 Website.
Payment Onsite
Credit card is the only accepted method of payment onsite. We cannot accept checks or purchase orders at the conference.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a refund (minus a 25% cancellation fee) you must cancel your registration before October 12, 2012.
There are no refunds after October 12, 2012.
You may cancel your own registration using the Enterprise World 2012 Registration website up to November 11, or you may email your cancellation request to enterpriseworld@opentext.com.
Cancellations by phone or fax are not accepted.
Substitutions
Please email enterpriseworld@opentext.com for attendee substitutions .
Enterprise/Group Program
Enterprise World offers special conference registration rates, a discount on training and additional conference benefits for organizations that send a group of 7 or more employees to the conference. Read about the Enterprise Program.
Training
Each training session is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly encourage you to sign up early!
You can register for training only, conference and training, or conference only and add training to your conference registration later.
If you choose to sign up for training, please make your workshop or course selections under “Session Registration”. The appropriate fee will be shown next to your selection. Then follow the instructions to complete your registration.
You can make changes or withdraw from a training session through the Enterprise World website. Simply click on the “My Registration” tab on the site, enter your confirmation number, and process to make your modifications. If you require assistance, contact enterpriseworld@opentext.com.
The Enterprise World training schedule is subject to change. OpenText Learning Services will contact you if there are changes to the session(s) that you have selected.
If you would like to attend a training session that is already full, you will be able to sign up for the waitlist. We will contact you if the space becomes available or an extra timeslot is added due to the popularity of the session.
Breakfast and lunch are included in your training fees.

Badges and Admittance
You will receive your official Content World badge when you check in at the registration desk at the conference. This badge identifies you as a conference attendee and guarantees your entrance to all the sessions, activities and meals included in your registration fee.
Please wear your badge at all times. This applies to all attendees.
Meals and Allergies
Attendee meals as outlined under “What Your Registration Fee Includes” (above) are included in your conference registration fee. Please indicate on the registration form any special meal requirements that you may have.
Attendees with food allergies should also make a note of their meal requirements during the online registration process. To make changes after registration, follow the link that is provided with your confirmation number in your confirmation email, and click on the “My Registration” tab in the main navigation bar to modify your meal preference or to indicate allergies.
Guest Pass
Take advantage of our Guest Pass program to allow your guest (age 21 or older) to join you at our Tuesday evening Conference Kickoff Celebration (includes dinner), or our Thursday evening event and dinner.
You will be able to purchase guest passes online as part of your conference registration, or onsite at the conference registration desk.
- Tuesday evening passes must be purchased before 3:00pm, Monday, November 12.
- Thursday evening passes must be purchased before 3:00pm, Wednesday, November 14.
Guests are not permitted in the general sessions, breakout sessions, training,Enterprise Expo, Innovation Lab, or breakfast and lunch.
The standard Enterprise World cancellation policy applies to the Guest Pass program.
No Smoking Policy
The Hilton Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Astoria are non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms and interior public spaces.
Attire
The conference dress code is business casual. Please note that the conference hall and meeting rooms will be air-conditioned.
The Tuesday and Thursday evening events have a more relaxed, casual dress code.
Tuesday and Thursday Evening Events
Tuesday Evening Kickoff Celebration
The opening event for the conference sees a departure from the Gala Dinner format of previous conferences. Our Enterprise World 2012 Kickoff Celebration will be a more casual, upbeat evening where you can enjoy dinner and connect with your colleagues, other conference attendees, and OpenText staff and partners.
The Kickoff Celebration is included in the full conference fee and can be added to the Wednesday Day Pass registration. If you would like to bring a guest, please refer to Guest Pass (above).
Thursday Evening Offsite Event
Our offsite event this year willadded to the website in the coming weeks. Transportation to and from the event will be provided from the Hilton Bonnet Creek.
This special event is included in the full conference fee and can be added to the Thursday Day Pass registration. If you would like to bring a guest, please refer to Guest Pass (above).
Attending Breakout Sessions
Breakouts begin Wednesday, November 14th at 9:00 am and run through to 5:00 pm Thursday, November 15th. Each breakout is approximately 50 minutes in length. Breakout sessions may have limited capacity seating so we encourage you to plan to arrive early. There is no need to sign up for breakouts prior to the conference.
Special Assistance
OpenText staff will be glad to help you with any special needs (e.g., physical, dietary). Please complete the appropriate sections on the registration form.
Proceedings
The Enterprise World 2012 conference proceedings will include the slide handouts for the General Session and Breakouts presented by customers, partners, and OpenText staff, as well as collateral offered in the Enterprise Expo at the Partner Exhibits and OpenText Pods.
Proceedings are ideal if you were unable to attend a session while at the conference or you simply want to review the session handouts. Presentation handouts will be posted in the Enterprise World 2012 Community on OpenText Online, our global user community. All attendees will be provided with the link to the Community.
